Canebrake Environmental Services, LLC is a veteran-owned environmental company located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Our company is not your traditional environmental business, but a “niche” firm established to supplement your existing team with “as needed” natural resources labor and/or specialty UAS wildlife monitoring services. The company’s mission is to provide professional, ethical, and affordable services while maintaining a low overhead so we can support your team nationally.

Canebrake consists of Eric Black, a professional with 21 years’ experience in the environmental field.

Eric’s experience includes, but is not limited to project management, federally protected species surveys, stream & wetland delineations, stream and wetland mitigation planning & monitoring, water resources permitting & regulation, natural resources field studies, site remediation, and wildlife associated UAS research & development.

Eric has managed and performed environmental projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), local municipalities, as well as other utility, engineering, development, and natural resources firms.
